Feed the Yeti Letter Recognition Activity

Regular price $3.00

What do yetis eat? Snowballs, of course! Make learning lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and letter sounds fun with this Winter Letter Recognition and Beginning Sounds Activity! As your students "feed" the yeti, they will review and practice naming letters and sounds.

Your kids can use this hands-on letter and sounds identification activity independently or with a partner during centers or morning tubs. You can also use it as an intervention, small group, or early finisher resource.

What’s Included:

  • Yeti to Feed
  • 26 Snowball Cards with Capital Letters
  • 26 Snowball Cards with Lowercase Letters
  • 32 Snowball Cards with Pictures
  • 4 Recording Sheets

There are picture cards that begin with both the short and long vowel sounds. There is also a picture card that ends with the letter X.

How to Use:

Your students will select a snowball card and identify the capital or lowercase letter or the picture’s beginning sound as they “feed” it to the yeti. Next, they will trace or write the letter on one of the four recording sheets.
