These Back-to-School Morning Tubs are fun, hands-on activities used to learn and review literacy and math concepts. These interactive morning tubs are also an entertaining and engaging way to start the day. This set includes 5 literacy and 5 math morning tubs that are perfect for children around the ages of 4-6.
Literacy Morning Tubs:
☼ ABC Play Dough Mat:
Your students will select a crayon and identify the letter on it. They will then use play dough to form the letter on the clipboard play dough mat.
☼ Pencil Beginning Sounds Clip Cards:
Your students will select a pencil and identify the letter and sound that it makes. They will then find the two pictures that begin with that sound and clip clothes pins on the pictures.
☼ Letter Writing Pencils:
Your students will select a pencil and identify the letter on it. They will then trace over the dotted letter and practice writing using a dry erase marker.
☼ Rhyming Crayon Puzzles:
Your students will find two pictures (CVC words) that rhyme and put the puzzle pieces together to form a crayon.
☼ Sight Word Crayon Box:
Your students will use the letter crayons from the ABC Play Dough Mat activity and spell the sight word on the crayon box. (Pre-Primer and Primer words included)
Math Morning Tubs:
☼ Bus Number Word Clip Cards:
Your students will select a card and count the number of children on the bus. They will then find that number word and clip a clothes pin on it.
☼ School Troll Strip Puzzles:
Your students will put the numbers in order from 1 to 10 to complete the puzzle and form the picture of the school-themed troll.
☼ Connect Links Counting Cards:
Your students will select a card and identify the number. They will then count that number of connect links and connect them to the card.
☼ Crayon Box Shape Puzzles:
Your students will find the 2 matching shapes and put the puzzle together. They will then trace the dotted shape with a dry erase marker.
☼ School Supply Roll And Cover:
Your students will roll a die, count the number of dots, and cover the number using a marker such as a pom, pom, chip, or counter. There are plus one and minus one cards too.
